Rise of Disabled Veterans

We used to have wars that ended, with years which could be counted, and the return of that era of veterans was pretty much permanent. We could count them, alive and dead, at the 'end' of the war.

Today, war is permanent, both main forces and hidden special forces are forever fighting, with years which we cannot count yet. We cannot count the alive and dead who have entered and returned or count those who remain forever on foreign soil.

The 'rise of the disabled veterans' is due to this forever war, with forever chemicals in both their military homes and battlefield tents, work hazards, the absolute horrors they see the enemy perform to stain the moral fibers of their nature. They return home broken, mentally and physically, exhausted and disgusted with the atrocities of their enemies and their own government. Denied by the money counters overseeing their healthcare, especially when they leave service, and treated as if what they are seeking is a 'perk' or any non-taxable compensation is seen a bums payment.

The DV rating is facing more stringent criteria because of how many people have been sent into this permanent war. We never have money for the care of aging or injured US citizens. However, they find plenty for the rest of the world that our service members have traveled to, fought in, or died in.

Be better............
