"If you're Mark Richt, you need to look at UTenn as a textbook case for what will happen when you stand pat, in the name of everything is ok and we're making no moves."

"Fulmer couldn't tweak his staff (didn't have the will to make changes...re: offensive production) and didn't do anything until it was too late."

"Georgia's scoring defense is 64th, 10th in the league....you recruit too well for that. Something has got to change, standing pat is not a good idea. You lack leadership and coaching on that side of the ball."

"A good CEO has got to look deep (speaking of Richt), even when it looks like record-wise things are ok, you've got to be willing to tweak."

"As attractive as Georgia is as a football school...one of the few places where you've got everything lined up to win as big as possible...if you sit still you are not going to win the SEC title. You're not going to get by Florida and you are not going to get by Saban."

"Now you're one of the few that can beat Urban Meyer and Saban on any given Saturday, but if you sit still it's not going to happen."

blow hard AH ...spends 5 minutes bad mouthing the DC at Georgia but is too chicken shite to say his name. Probably got stiffed for some Ga/Fla tics by the DC so he cuts his throat every chance he can.

Bill King is right on the money.

As a CEO you have to tweak all the time to keep moving forward and improving.. It constantly sends a message to the staff, and players... You have to perform

Richt isn't going to do anything. As long as the fans show up and don't complain, they aren't going to change anything.

wait until that RB and QB bolt and they lose 4-6 games the following year. Those fans are gonna be in an uproar. Although, they are more used to losing than we are.

He's been critical of Martinez, by name, several times.

Thing is, people ARE complaining. The rumblings will only get louder, too, unless we start seeing dramatic improvement.

Willie is still a good D Coordinator, but when you had somenone like Van Gorder previously, you see the disparity. Willie's defenses have given up more points in more games and it's frustrating.

Worse than that, though, is the inconsistency.

Tech for example: First half - great. Tech had to struggle for every single yard. Everybody played extremely disciplined football and were in perfect position.

Second half - Epic fail. You've got at times 3 guys converging on the same ball carrier with no regard for the pitch man. You have a VHT safety playing bumper cars instead of tackling.

Defense wasn't the only reason we lost, but as many have said if you score 42 points in a game you should win. They may not make a change this year, but Richt will lose a lot of support if this continues next year as well

I had always heard that Van Gorder was a beast to work with, but much like LSU's issues now, you must have that type to balance off your staff and coach kids to exceed expectations
