Such a dumb take. Cops arrest based on suspicion in every case. The perp gets convicted in court, the cops only bring them in on suspicion. Why is this any different than a cop arresting anyone anywhere? Are cops supposed to wait until someone is convicted in a court before arresting someone? That's putting the cart in front of the horse.
