not wrong. as a millenial i see it both ways and don’t understand why anyone cares how PTO is used

It’s management that cares. Businesses that hire only enough employees and then when one wants to take a vacation, all hell breaks loose.

My old job would hire a bare bones crew and if we had one person gone, it was hell on earth. Couldn’t take off near holidays because we would be busy then. VP of our region taking in $4-$6million a year sitting in a chair but never wanted to pay for extra staff to give us a life. Oh, don’t forget the 7 off days per year. 10 after 3 years.

Use PTO when you want.
