Not at all. It can be depended on, unlike people that call in on friday with a "mental health day."
Im taking two months off this winter (Feb, March) which allows me to travel like I couldnt with lesser time. The schedules were covered two months ago.

With as much time as you spend posting on TD, I doubt your coworkers will notice you left.
