People who think wolves aren’t a threat to people are fools. Ask that lady teacher who went for a jog in Alaska a few years back. Oh that’s right, she’s not around to answer.

You mean the one from almost 14 years ago and the only fatal wolf attack ever in Alaska?

The only other fatal wolf attack in the US other than that in the last 80 years was in Minnesota in 1989. That's a real scary story that would have me terrified to ever go outside in Colorado ever again. This one was THE FAMILY PET THEY KEPT IN THEIR BACKYARD and the wolf knocked the person to the ground and they died from liver damage from the slam.

Yes, people all over should be shaking in their boots, the threat to humans is real

Google the Kirov wolf attacks. Sure it’s from the 40s-50s if that makes you feel better. Also, the 3 fatal attacks in Europe just this year.

My only point is that people who think wolves are no threat to humans are wrong. I’d feel better about the whole thing if managed hunting is allowed so as to instill the fear of humans. If we are reintroducing without allowing hunting, that is a mistake IMO.

Correction: The 3 attacks in Europe this year were non-fatal. But if you read up on it, wolves have wreaked some real havoc on people in the not too distant past.
