I have been to China 9 times, visited wet markets, eaten Chinese food all over the country, and I have never seen bat as an offering. Not in restaurants, markets, or street food vendors. Yes, they eat most protein sources - fish, sea food, snakes, donkey, a little bit of dog. I have never seen bat or rodent offered. Their main protein sources are pork, chicken, tofu, duck, fish, and just a little beef (actually water buffalo). The bat soup photo is someone (probably the CCP) fricking with the West.
