Hopefully this IBM stuff will push companies that way. We have got to stop letting a bunch of foreigners and government bureaucrats dictate our hiring policies.
To the OP: My company is eaten up with it right now. A lot of professionals hired from black diploma mills who are supposed to be tech experts and can't wipe their own butt without someone holding their hand. It's getting ugly. Now they've started pumping them into the maintenance groups, so that should be a real gas.

The idea is that you need to do their work for them or double-slot the position with somebody who will competently do all of the work.
These kinds of jobs are practically "no show" jobs for the DEI hire.
