I dunno, it's no better than his predecessor and what we have done for the last several years running. But we need to get back to being top 3-5 and at least threatening to win the recruiting championship.
It's slightly underwhelming. How in the hell we having trouble getting a local kid from Lafayette who is a stud DT to come to LSU who has no defensive interior to speak of? Just baffling. And troublesome.
Finishing with 10 win seasons with this track record of recruiting thus far is about all you can expect moving forward. You just wasted your one best chance at a national title because you hired a buffoon as your defensive coordinator.

LSU dominated in-state recruiting better than any school in America. This was a slightly down year in Louisiana, which caused a minor dip in rankings.
Next year, LSU will similarly dominate the state and be top 5.

Again. We never did this on a year to year basis on average.
