Wtf kind of bs is this. The government has no right to force any private business to do anything. Doesn't the fn government have better shite to do that regulate a private company's hours?
Nobody's being forced to do anything...the property owner is contemplating a change in lease terms which would require anyone leasing space to be open 7 days a week in response to taxpayer's complaints. Chick Fil A will have the option of closing or complying with the property owners new terms.
I'll bet that almost no one here knows WHY Chick Fil A is closed on Sundays. It ain't so employees can be home with their families as they claim...it so employees, and especially contractor employees, can do maintenance and clean them up. Always has been that way. I have sat in meetings in their corporate offices and heard this directly from the horses mouth. It became such a trope that it was so their workers could be home with their families that the good will earned from the public is fare more important than the time required to keep them clean and maintained but there is almost ALWAYS a crew of someone doing something inside a location on Sundays.

You... are an idiot.
I don't care if you heard it yourself.
Restaurants clean after close. Every damn one.
They don't dedicate a day a week.
Have you ever sat in a meeting for a non-chick-fil-a restaurant?
Have you ever closed down a restaurant late at night?
