If China attacked some coastal town and the marines and some hostages were accidentally killed while trying to take out the attackers I wouldn’t blame the marines
A good example is Pat Tillman, and the public reaction to the facts surrounding his death by friendly fire. And that was far more defensible than what we're discussing here with Israeli hostages.

Wasn’t that a big deal because(outside of him being an NFL football player) the military lied about it and said he was ambushed?
And hasn’t Israel claimed their own folks killed the escaped hostages?

How do you know considering virtually no facts of this event have been released outside that it occurred?
