I’m not much older then this demo and in an environment surrounded by people close or in this age range. I don’t know if it’s as high as 79% but it’s definitely well over half. Yes I know it’s anecdotal but consider many young people tend to be socially progressive it’s not hard to believe at all. Especially if they’re minorities, grew up/live in urban areas (which many young people do), and are college educated

Going back to the minority part. I myself am a minority and grew up in the South in area with not many people who were immigrants. In other words different background than many other minorities. However many of my minority peers grew up in cities outside the south. The vast majority of them use words like oppressor and colonizer. I guarantee you a lot of their parents don’t feel the same way. Then you have the college educated white demo (particularly women) who tend towards the same mindset.

I’ve even seen this from many of my (very southern) HS peers post college. A lot were very involved and supportive of the BLM movement and protests that have taken place over the last few years
