FYI: Brees needs to average

328.33 passing yards per game over the last three games to break Marino's single season passing yards record. Brees currently has 4,100 passing yards on the year followed by Kurt Warner with 4,020.
It would b e great if Saints do make the playoffs and if Brees breaks the record. If I had to choose one, I take the playoffs.

I would rather Brees play mistake free like yesterday with a couple TD's and no picks. Screw the damn record right now, try it again next year or so.

That will be tough to reach @ Chicago and against the Panthers. He should get it against Detroit but hopefully he wont have to throw 50 times to beat them.

if he gets the record it means were not making the playoffs.

If you ask Brees, I'd bet he'd rather winning and the playoffs, than that record.

He will make up for what he doesn't get in Chicago or against Carolina with a huge game against lowly Detroit.
