i get my facts from public news articles, like the new york times i posted earlier. everyone knows there's extreme takes here that will bend things to their will. td is a good starting point for headlines but we all should do our own research.

so like i said,
did questionable stuff: fact
got caught: fact
didn't cooperate: fact

at this point, any reasonable person could see why someone would get fired for any of the above actions.

you say
quote:

"You also failed to include that the contract adjustment was based on no “future” possible violations LSU didn’t already know about and none occurred.
this is news to me, thanks for sharing. this does make me question why wade didn't fight his firing for cause leaving millions on the table. is this just because he's a good guy? or is there more to the story than us keyboard warriors know?

First off “questionable” doesn’t equal fact. The very definition means it’s uncertain therefore can’t be fact so your carefully worded trope fails there. Secondly none of this stuff was certain until a year after Wade had already been fired so to cite the findings as reason to fire him is also false. Wade is looking into suing LSU as he stated on Jordys show just before Mcneese hired him. I get it, news on college basketball in general and especially in these instances is murky at best so you have to dig to find out what is actually happening and like I said you need to be aware that the allegations are always majorly embellished for the media so they can help the NCAAs image. For example Buzz Williams was caught with recruiting violations. When the news came out it said he had 25 recruiting allegations against him. The truth was it was 5 but since he had multiple interactions with these recruits the NCAA just multiplied the instances by the amount of contact. Buzz ended up with 5 violations. Syracuse had 13 level one violations proven that were reduced to 2 because of the same compounded math. This is how they operate and how Wade’s “uncooperative atmosphere” and “failing to report a potential violation” gets turned into “Paying every player at LSU”.
