He’s gonna use the blue blood excuse so let’s give some lower tier team examples. Washington, ATM (under Woody no less), Syracuse, Auburn. All had “violations, some major, and all kept the coach.

his is too much to quote but i'll absolutly say that. none of those programs are LSU and/or were in the same situation as LSU when this happened. if you feel that one was, please share those details.
eta: i love that all of his answers were essentially "frick it, we don't care" or "frick it, someone else doing it".
