Wanting to get one for me and my wife so that we can play Mario cart, sports, just dance, all the other basic games.

Is the OLED worth the extra $50? I suspect we will majority only use the console to play against each other on the TV and not actually use the screen itself.

Also, so I need another set of controls for us to play against each other?

I mean if your just gonna be using it docked the normal switch will be fine and use that extra 50 bucks to get yourself a pro controller to be able to play multiplayer games.

^^ exactly what he said. They make some pretty cool custom controllers, too (3rd party, but quality)
