The IDF needs to start performing WoG operations against the Hamas leadership outside of Gaza. As long as the Hamas leadership (and their immediate families) aren't in Gaza, the more those leaders can affect bravery in negotiations. I imagine their tones would change quickly if some (or all) of their immediate family members became hostages for Israel to bargain with in regards to the release of Israeli hostages from Gaza.

Why take hostages? Just start killing them and announce that this will continue until your lackeys surrender.
