Build him a statue, alongside the other two Heisman winners, but only retire 9 for winning it all, IMO

EDIT: if retiring them at all. Would much refer their names in a ring of honor rather than retired numbers

Unless something has changed, as far as I know, there are only two names on the stadium. They’re iconic players but from 53 and 65 years ago respectively. I can think of a couple of players of more recent vintage (certainly within the last half-century) whose names could be up there. I’m sure LSU has made a conscious effort to limit the number of former players so honored and by the rarity of the recognition thereby enhance it’s significance, but there are a few names that could go up now. A couple from the last 25 years for sure.

What about Casanova and Stovall? Neither won the heisman or a National Championship but their numbers are retired, I think LSU should retire 5, the man just did something that only two other Tigers have ever done
