Exactly. It cost roughly $50K to summit Everest, part of which requires paying $5K for a human being of a different race to carry all your shite, do all the hard work, and take most of the risk. Literally at times, them carrying you on their back.

At the end of the day, you have people with $50K of disposable income bitching about "colonialism" wishing they too had been allowed to be more colonial like.

I wonder if they have any idea how many Indians and sherpas have climbed it as well as other minorities. I know Indians aren't a minority over there.

I don’t get the allure of this. You didn’t really accomplish it this way. The thrill would be putting in the work yourself to summit. That’s an accomplishment
