Most of her music sucks but she was able to outsmart some music executives by re-recording her prior work in order to get paid. I guess they took advantage of her when she first signed a deal or something. Very smart tactic.

her dad invested $300k in ownership stock of her first record label. seems weird they would try to frick her over.
he made $15 million when they sold the company.
