All these dudes against anyone coming in. If they actually looked at the top performing QBs this year they would see most of them were transfers.

And if you looked at it, they were leaving either a dumpster fire (ASU, Auburn), following a coach (Penix), or making a major move up as a 3rd or 4th year as a starter (Gabriel to OU).

In the end, there are lots of reasons, but the ones that are Heisman candidates didn’t leave because they didn’t win the job this year. It happens (Burrow, Murray), but is not the only reason.

And all had the ability to RUN the ball for those critical 3rd down scenarios. I hate to say it but I don't think Nuss can run to the 'Daniels/Milroe' level that is required against today's fast defenses. The Staff knows this and they just have to finesse it.
