Headed to Mexico out of Galveston for Mardi Gras. Already got the drink package and upgraded the to balcony room. Any ideas or tips to know about?

Assuming you're sailing Harmony and if so:

get the 3 night dining package and make sure Wonderland is one of the 3

Grease and Colombus are both great, don't skip them

The ice show is okay but story is lacking. Aqua show has alot of talent but another show lacking a good story thats easy to follow

Don't forget your drink package works at specialty restaurants even if you don't eat there. Meaning, you can go to Sabor and get the Jaleopno Margarita without issue on your package. Same with smoothies and from the gym.

Crazy Quest game show is alot of fun. The more people you go with and the more you get into it, the more fun it will be

Use the room under the bed to store your luggage.

An over the door shoe organizer hung on the bathroom door helps for storage as well.

You're not supposed to leave clothes and such on the balcony but we often will leave bathing suits and such..just make sure you bring binder clips or something to secure them

Bring a battery operated clock

Make sure any outlet/power strip you have is cruise approved. If not, they'll take it and outlets are scarce. LINK

If you're traveling with women, shower and get dressed first and go to the Trellis Bar in Central park while the women get ready. Them have them come meet you every night before dinner.

They'll have themed nights and one of them will be a white night, pack accordingly.

The walls are all metal so you can bring things with magnets (hooks, decorations for the door, etc)
