I don’t think Bama beat Auburn with their back up QB or best GA with their 3rd string QB.

You are making his point, margin of victory is irrelevant. You can’t penalize FSU for only beating Louisville by 10 and then totally ignore Bama beating Auburn by 3. It should not be considered and if it is, then applied to both teams, not the one you want to screw over only.
