Ammo stocks on shelves have gotten better but still aren’t back to where they were 4 years ago. The internet is a wonderful thing but it’s nice to go walk through a store like academy and grab an extra box of bullets and a bag or two of plastic worms just because you’re already there, 28 nosler will never get to the level 7 mag will.

As someone who shoots a 7 mag as my primary deer rifle, it is way over kill for where I hunt. I bought it as a 20yo who hunted with a .243 up until that point, purely over compensating, 15 years later it’s a comfort and confidence deal
