Climate change isn't really a conservative issue, but I'd argue conservatives are far more environmentally conscious than leftists. The rural areas of this country are almost exclusively Republican. Meanwhile, the majority of leftists live in urban cities, where nature is simply either an abstract idea or a cultivated and manicured entity (park or garden). More conservatives hunt and fish, which I'd argue makes them more concerned about their natural environmental surroundings than your average urban progressive. It baffles me how those who are most concerned with the natural world and its environment often live in the most unnatural of settings (large urban centers).

100%. From agriculture to hunting and fishing, conservatives are way more concerned with the health of our environment and the stability of our climate.
