All teams can say the same thing. Every team can improve over the next month. That's not something that should be considered. Imagine if the committee made that argument for Alabama. "Nick Saban teams always improve with a month off" Everyone would rightfully go crazy. Assuming teams will improve isn't and shouldn't be part of the criteria.

Which is why you look at hat everyone did in their season and nothing else really. What else is sports?

what? It 100% should be considered. That’s asinine to judge a team on one game with a 3rd string freshman QB when the backup will be cleared next week and able to practice for three weeks before the next time they take the field.

Also one game they are going to WIN against a top 15 team
