I’ve played 1, 3, 5 and 6. 5 was by far my favorite. I beat it 3 times.
I thought 6 was good but I wouldn’t pay $60 for it

I've played 3, 4, 5 and 6. 5 was my favorite. It's a cool setting and story with good gunplay and combat. Getting kidnapped to advance the story is the only bad part.
Most people think 3 is the best, but I never finished. It's a good story, but it loses steam when you get to the main villain, who isn't compelling. I also played it after 4 and 5 and the combat did not feel nearly as smooth.
4 is very good and a close second to 5. Good setting and story, really great combat. If you didn't have to clear radio towers to unlock the map, it could challenge 5.
6 was a big disappointment. The story is pretty underwhelming and although there's a ton to do, it all feels repetitive. It's fine for the combat, although stealth kills were pretty inconsistent for me. Overall, it feels like a series of outposts without a narrative tie, and they just blend together.
