UW is about to make the playoffs for the second time.

I was about to make this point. Florida? Zero. A&M? Zero. Hell, LSU, with all our success since 2001 has only been to the CFP 1 time. You’re never gonna build a Georgia or Bama at Washington, but with the right QB every few years, you can absolutely compete nationally.

I am interested to see how the move to the Big 10 affects the PAC teams. This Washington team has the perfect blend of explosiveness at the skill positions and they’re very physical, which should translate well to the Big 10 and their style of play. But somebody did make a good point about them having a lot of old guys, though. Easy to be physical when you have a bunch of 22-24 year olds playing. Will they be able to recruit the Midwest to continue blending that physicality with skill guys on the West Coast? Will those guys that don’t go to Michigan or OSU choose Washington, Oregon, USC, or UCLA? Are there enough to go around? Will 1 of the PAC teams emerge as the “winner” of the move? Will it make more powers or dilute them all?
