re: Craziest online (or in-person) drunk purchase?

I was once tasked with replacing the kids' little $20 pirate ship play pool that the dog popped. I forgot about it, got drunk one night watching baseball, remembered just before bed, and bought this monstrosity for $600



It's actually one of the best purchases I have ever made for the kids. They love it. It has a pool, water slide, bounce house, and mounted water guns. We've used it for parties and random days every year for 5 years, lent it to friends for their parties, etc.

The look on my wife's face when she figured out how overboard I went on replacing the pirate pool was almost worth it alone.
