I think the hostages are the only reason why Israel will even flirt with a ceasefire. Israel is gonna turn Gaza into sand, but I think they want to try and get as many hostages out as possible. Especially with them being hostages from other countries. I’m sure there’s pressure on Israel from the international community to try and get those hostages freed before Israel goes scorched earth over there. I’m sure Israel has a clock going, and if hostages aren’t freed by a certain date, then Israel is just gonna have to do what they have to do.
