This is a stat that I have been throwing out on Bo Nix but I didnt have the source. Our good ole friend put it out on twitter/X…

Leah Vann Twittter

quote:

Bo Nix's 78% completion percentage: 67% of his passes range from behind the line of scrimmage -> 9 yards, which makes up 2,007 of his 3, 852 passing yards this season... which are mainly receivers extending plays after the catch Average depth of throw is 30.4 yards, 19th overall out of QBs that have played 12 or more games Don't get me wrong, he's doing well. Oregon is winning, but there's a lot to consider when you throw out his completion percentage.

If Jayden Daniels doesn’t win the Heisman, it’s not an award for the best player in college football. He clearly is. It’s an award for a very good player who is on a team that could make the playoff.

Scheduling top OOC teams like Florida State made sense in the BCS days. It makes no sense now. We’re in the SEC. We’d be 10-2 if we’d scheduled 4 cupcakes like Georgia did. Like Oregon did. Stop doing it. No one cares anymore.
