Why is a guy not running debating a guy who is not winning his parties nomination

If Newsom runs, he will win it all. There are too many dumb white women that will vote for him because he looks nice.

Ron is easily the best debater currently in the race. He is calm and has outstanding recall on facts and figures and he can point to specific accomplishments. He has a clear voice and comes across as an adult and he is very precise with his language. He very, very rarely makes a mistake and in a 1v1 that is unlikely to occur.

I mean Trump was never great at debating but he looked terrible last cycle and I can't imagine how bad he will be this cycle.

Vivek has moments where he is awesome but he's also very rehearsed. All of his jabs are pre planned. He also oversteps and makes himself very unlikable, the attack on Haley's daughter is a good example. While I'm sure some think it was awesome that was a MAJOR turnoff for most people and it didn't gain him any new support.

Haley is just a wind up toy. It's all talking points and rehearsed crap. She actually is the most like Newsom on the GOP side.

Oh and spare me with the "They shouldn't be debating!" idiocy. Debates and discussion like this is what politics should be about. We need a lot more of this and not less. it reminds me of the Cruz/Sanders debate on Health Care. We all benefit.

What about the filing deadlines that have passed and are coming up real soon? Are they (D)ifferent for Newsome?
