I've lost multiple friends and acquaintances to suicide already. There's a mental health epidemic going on, especially with men. But since it's men, nobody cares, or if someone does care they are shouted down as part of the patriarchy or some other BS like that.

Breast and prostate cancer affect women and men in equal numbers. Prostate cancer kills men at the same rate as breast cancer does women, roughly 1 in 40. Breast cancer research is funded globally at roughly $2.7 billion dollars, where prostate cancer research is funded at $1.2 billion.

Lets face it, society doesn't really care as much if men die.

Men have always been seen as disposable, an extension of the “Sperm is cheap, Eggs are expensive “ ethos.

How many men refuse to seek help for their mental health because of societal pressure to suck it up buttercup?
