The REALITY on D

Stop and think about something.
Going into this year we had Denver Harris(5 star) and JK Johnson(Ohio State transfer) Greg Brooks(going into this year as a leader and possible all SEC player) Major Burns as our main secondary.
It went to Zy Alexander(Southeastern Transfer, Sage Ryan(real position FS), Andre Sam(Transfer from Marshall) and Major Burns.
In all reality it's a wonder we won 9 games this year with what we had to deal with in the secondary.
Couple all of that with Whit Weeks injury and having him out for a period of time. The real true production of our defense came from Penn and HP and hit or miss weekly with someone on the DLine because Spieghts played like a PAC12 linebacker.
I honestly think House stays and they look to replace our DB coach and bring in a DLine coach other than the elderly Jenkins.

Our problem with him is he didn't seem to have a clue about finding ways to play to the strength of the players you have until you can get the players you want.
Also, whose fault is it that we were even in that predicament in the first place? He plays a huge role. He had to be a part of the discussion about the current DB coaches who have only managed to pull in Louisiana DB's who probably wanted to play at LSU their whole lives anyway.

Our woes on D don’t begin and end at DB. Yes, we had DB issues, but we had issues at every level. Our LBers were subpar as a group. Our DL couldn’t get off blocks or rush the passed. We made few okays.
No one associated with our D should feel safe. Major changes are in order across the board.

Reality is it doesn’t work quite like it did in my 20’s.

I just want a solid D next year. I mean it can’t get worse. Well I guess it can. But look at 2019. We just had a sound solid disciplined D.
LSU has Aggie D this year and we are sitting Number 1 right now about to go stomp Georgia.

Our D got pushed around, linebackers couldn’t tackle, and DBs couldn’t cover. Not really sure what the strength would have been.

I’m picking up what you putting down my biggest issue with the defense is there was not a single noteworthy improvement ALL season long there was not one player I can say improved any all season no player development at all

WOW! WOW! This post is like a rusume and what a resume it is! Sitting in the stadium and your living room you got it all figured out. I would call for a meeting with BK and let him know what you figured out our defenses problem that he didn't.
Hey if BK is stupid enough to not replace House with you I here many other programs are looking for a stud DC like you.
Keep us posted on how your job search is going.

Yo this is a board about LSU football. You apparently were watching Arkansas or Florida thinking it was LSU.
No worries I sure it was an honest mistake.
Cheers,
