Spend the extra money.
I bought "affordable" replacement fans from Lowes 6 or 7 years ago, and they are garbage. I've already replaced two of them.
They are the Hunter brand but I'm guessing these are bottom of the line because they have cheap aluminum wiring inside, instead of copper, and they didn't last.
I bought higher grade Hunter fans to replace the two that broke, and these are much nicer.

Another vote for Hunter fans.
I installed one in the first house I bought, took it with me when I moved, still going strong 40 years later. I check the oil level every year, other than that they just run.
