I drilled four one inch holes about two or three inches from the bottom equally spaced, so the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock position. I fabricated some metal flaps that just twist down covering the hole partial or fully. The smoke stack also has a flap I can use to choke it down as well. Once rolling I generally keep two bottom holes wide open, two fully closed and the stack vent about half closed.
