JFK and Khrushchev communicated secretly for a couple of years prior to the Cuban Missile Crisis. Their mutual respect for one another and trust is what saved millions from being annihilated. Their own governments despised their leaders for this.

Look, LHO was a commie, Ruby was a vigilante, Sirhan was concerned about Palestine, and Thane Cesar was moonlighting as a security guard for extra cash. The known CIA connections to LHO and Cesar are just coincidences. This is Mayberry. They hate us for our freedoms.
