800 miles means you’ve seen something slightly unique or crazy in that watershed.

Whether it was people, gators, bears etc. we’d like to hear your top two occurrences.

I may have seen a couple of bear cubs on the Leaf between Taylorsville and Reddock's Ferry. They didn't look or move like pigs but they were gone before I could register what I was seeing. I saw lots of gators, the biggest I saw was on the smallest stream I floated. On Gaines Creek just below Hintonville and saw a gator slowly sliding into the creek with me that was as wide as my kayak. I don't know how long because I only saw the back half of it. My favorite was late summer when everything was shallow and clear I would see a lot of sturgeon swimming on sand flats.
