Fake rolled up dog chews

I get those red ones from tractor supply. Is there anything to spray or soak them in after they lick the red off? They chew up some but not others.

The neighbor’s dog would chew off the red rolled parts and leave the long white rolled piece. My dog would go over there and get the white rolled piece and gnaw it to nothing. My dog misses them now that they moved.
