Kind of depends what you are having the MRI on and the circumstances.
I had one on a knee years ago with little problem.
I freaked out when I had one on my back, but that was partially due to forgetting I had my wedding band on and it started pulsing due to the scan. They had to take the ring from me and restart, but I was on edge the whole time.
