Most of the brand name .30 cal suppressors will be rated for almost anything that can fit through the can.

I think this depends on if this is your first can and how many other rifles you have that can be suppressed. I wouldn’t pick an overly overbuilt or heavy bolt/sniper style direct threaded can mainly because I think once you dive into the suppressed world you will want to put them on everything and a direct thread isn’t typically the best thing to do that with.

I’ve shot a bunch through silencerco omega 300, a little through my omega 36m, and a lot through my trash panda.

All three cans will suppress that gun to less than f*** that was loud but I don’t believe any can will be quiet shooting full power hunting loads. Don’t take that to mean cans aren’t worth it because I am absolutely obsessed and don’t have intentions ever shooting unsuppressed it’s just not quiet with supers.

I say determine what matters to you. Length, weight, qd attachment system and then pick from there.

All that said I normally recommend the Nomad Ti or a Trash panda in full size. But this omega 36m really did blow me away with it suppression for how small it is and putting a plan b mount on it it weights the same as my trash panda

I think it’s one of the better looking cans on a hunting rig too.

Thanks to all for the replies. What exactly is plan b mount? I do have an another suppressor on a 6.5 cm AR. It’s a sincerco brand. Don’t remember model though.
