I have the 3-12 and I've never noticed an issue with eye relief and I'd be surprised if Trijicon botched something that basic on the 3-9.. $300 is a screaming good deal on that scope. Glass is comparable (to my old eyes) to my Razor HD glass.

I checked the manual it also says 2.5-3.7. I don’t think it has short eye relief and I think the eye box is very forgiving. I feel like they must measure their differently or something. I haven’t seen eye relief problems with any trijicons I’ve looked through.
