And the ref stood there at his little monitor and stopped gameplay for 2 minutes with a headset on
Yet we were told the Turner hit was “reviewed” we just didn’t see it? Really?
It’s all a joke at this point. If the intent of Targeting is to make the game safer you can’t make a mockery of it like the SEC has done the last two weeks.

Turners’ hit in Daniels was absolutely targeting by the rule. However, we may not have seen them review it on the field because Daniels was down for what felt like 5+ minutes. Sams’ hit didn’t have that downtime.
With that said frick the Bama refs and the SEC. They killed any chance lsu had in that game with their bulkshit non targeting call.
