Don’t disagree but life is weird because I was a little late to the party…
20’s were all a raging party and meet the woman of my dreams (which I did)
30’s were busting arse, having kids, climbing the corp ladder and getting established
40’s we’re raising the kids, building income. Trying to be a good dad and husband. Had both in-laws pass and dealing with that.
Now I’m early 50’s and I’m lost. I’ve spent the last 20 years trying to get to somewhere that I’ve arrived at. But I don’t do anything for me…and can’t do it because I’m in the mindset that my job is to provide and set the stage for the kids. Still have two kids that have to get through college.
Lesson…don’t wait to have kids if that’s where you’re going. I believe every married couple should do it because it’s part of being a human and adult….but do it early so you don’t have everything hitting you at once when you get older.
TLDR…40’s we’re awesome. I just need help with the 50’s.
