He did. He didn't bitch and whine to the media like Kiffin would do, but he made it clear that he sent the whole thing in to the league offices for review.

That's probably a bigger challenge to the league, because it isn't just trolling or coachspeak. We don't know how he worded what he sent in, but yesterday post-game he went on record as saying Turner's hit was clearly intended to hurt a player. If he went so far as to say in the letter "I realize that this was a marquee matchup and the home crowd's emotions were in it, but ..."
then THAT would be a quiet accusation of Bama bias.

Which might well have resulted in the targeting call they hit us with, a way of saying 'we could eject half your team if you don't shut up'.
