the flare guns during low visibility to keep them in formation was something I never knew was a thing

the British would do nightime runs and drop bombs blindly with no way of knowing if they actually hit anything

the usa pilots went during day to hit actual targets to help ground troops and making sure supplies were able to get to britain - I think that was the whole deal with the bar fight

you had to be strategic for any chance to succeed in d day and other campaigns

Both have their merits IMO. It all depends on the values you place on safety for your guys or hitting targets and making a difference on the ground. I can see the benefits of both, but it seems like actually destroying the targets would be the most important goal, so our way seems better, at least on the surface.

I liked E2. E3 looks badass, can’t wait to watch that one.
