Have gone twice to Ireland, can't wait to go back. Played Carne twice, Ballybunion, and Enniscrone. Carne is way out there but worth the trip, not just for golf. If u have just one round, I'd do Ballybunion, Royal Portrush, or RCD. Tom Watson calls Ballybunion his favorite.
