As we are in first place in the division halfway into the season. GTFOH

Note that I said "after this season." We are in 1st in a terrible division with one of the easiest schedules the team has had in decades. Players like Jordan, Thomas, Hill, Mathieu, Maye and Davis are not getting any younger ($90 million in cap next year) and Kamara, Ram and Lattimore make up over $70 million in cap next year (with Carr at $36 million). There comes a time when we have to admit that we have a lot of money invested in players that are either older or playing a position that does not command the salary any longer. Maybe we can get another year without rebuilding, but it would entail a commitment to these players by restructuring even more $$$ into the future again.

It's almost like a property owner wants to sell high.
