Also, check Facebook Marketplace. People unload good equipment all the time of you're looking.
As far as money goes, you're not going to break even. You will be happier not having to share or wait for equipment. I roll out of bed at 3:45AM and am warming up in my garage by 4AM and I never have to wait for anyone.
