Probably apartment kids. Apartment life sucks for children.

Nah, my complex started trick or treating for kids at 1700. But they're not riff raff kids. They're fine.

70% (easily) of the kids that showed up in my old hood were not from anywhere within two miles.

I don't begrudge kids having a good time, but if the treats suck in your hood, how about you send an email or text to the other shitty parents that live near you, and ask that someone buy some chocolate?

Sort of disagree. We lived in a 17 story building in NYC and Halloween was insane. All the kids would start at the top and work their way down the staircases. The kids could not make it to the bottom because their buckets would be overflowing with candy by the time they got 2/3 of the way down.
